What is the difference between Primary, Basic I, Basic II, and Advanced teacher training programs?
Mai Ram Yoga teacher training takes place in progressive stages. Each level of study is dedicated to an increasingly deeper development of yoga practice, methodology, and teaching skills.
Primary is the introductory stage of teacher studies, designed for those who wish to deepen their practice, get to know the Mai Ram Yoga methodology better, and prepare for the teacher's path ahead. These studies help form a solid practical and theoretical foundation.
Basic I (200 hours) is the core teacher training program for those aiming to become certified Mai Ram Yoga teachers. During the studies, yoga methodology, asanas, breathing practices, philosophy, anatomy, teaching principles, and instructional practice are covered in detail.
Basic II represents continuing studies for already certified teachers who wish to deepen their professional knowledge, improve teaching skills, and further master the Mai Ram Yoga method. At this stage, much attention is paid to the quality of practice, individual student guidance, and a deeper understanding of yoga principles.
Advanced Teacher Studies is the highest stage of teacher training, designed for Mai Ram Yoga teachers with many years of practice and teaching experience. These studies focus on an even deeper understanding of classical yoga, maturing spiritual practice, and developing teaching mastery.
Each level of study builds on the knowledge and experience of the previous stage, which is why we recommend following the teacher's path sequentially. This learning model allows not only for acquiring professional competencies but also for maturing personal practice, which is an integral part of being a good teacher in the Mai Ram Yoga tradition.
