Yoga diet

Yoga diet

For a yogi, food is not only sustenance for the body, but also a continuation of spiritual practice.

Yogi Diet - what is it?

A yogi diet is part of a conscious lifestyle leading to the harmony of body, mind, and consciousness. In yoga practice, food is perceived as a source of vital energy, prana. For a yogi, food is not only sustenance for the body, but also a continuation of spiritual practice, as food is a manifestation of divine energy. Thus, a yoga practitioner strives to eat in silence, consciously, and with gratitude to the Almighty.

When eating, they aim to maintain sattva – inner purity. Clean and harmoniously balanced food provides peace, strength, clarity, and spiritual sensitivity.

Fresh, natural, and light food nourishes the body and facilitates meditation. Also, moderation in food is emphasized in the yogi diet, so that the body is always light, not weighed down, and the mind is clear and calm.
